Aurora’s Light

2

Before the light strikes the rocky shore
And myst rolls up from the shadowy moor
My heart beats, a pounding beneath my chest
I pause as I look out on the foamy crest
And I listen to the sea and its deafening roar
As I watch the snow white sea gull soar
And wait for aurora’s light

  1. That poem is extremely vivid, Jason. If you close your eyes, you can hear the sea gulls, the water on the shore, the spray, the wind blowing in your face….

    …beautiful.
