Parting is Sweet Sorrow

6

To thee I bid a fond farewell
And look towards our meeting
Say on another day perhaps
When moments aren’t so fleeting

I do not wish to leave thy smile
For it melts a heart of stone
Warming me deep inside my breast
And leaving me not alone

So when I think about this fact
The coming of the morrow
I feel the saying must be true
That parting is sweet sorrow

  1. “Well, here at last, dear friends, on the shores of the Sea comes the end of our fellowship in Middle-earth. Go in peace! I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil.”

  2. What will you do with these poems? Maybe a book? Or an e-book? Maybe put some illustrations to it. That would be great! If there is a book let me know.

  3. I’ve considered publishing them, when I have enough for a decent sized book. This will probly happen sometime late next year. So stay tuned…
